১. সিন্ধু উপত্যকা সভ্যতার বৈশিষ্ট্য, সিন্ধু সভ্যতার পতন, বৈদিক সভ্যতা, ষোড়শ মহাজনপদ, বৌদ্ধ ও জৈনধর্ম, মৌর্য সাম্রাজ্যের উত্থান ও পতন, অশোকের ধম্ম, সাম্রাজ্যবাদী গুপ্ত, পাল ও বাংলার সেন বংশ।
২. দিল্লী সুলতানীর প্রতিষ্ঠা – দাসবংশ, খিলজি, তুঘলক এবং লোদি শাসক, সুলতানী সাম্রাজ্যের প্রশাসনিক কাঠামো, সুলতানির অধীনে বিজয়নগর সাম্রাজ্য।
৩. দিল্লি সুলতানির পতন, বাবর ও তার ভারত আক্রমণের গুরুত্ব, মুঘল-আফগান দ্বন্দ্ব এবং শের শাহ সুরি। আকবরের অধীনে মুঘল সাম্রাজ্যের একত্রীকরণ, আকবরের অধীনে আঞ্চলিক সম্প্রসারণ।
৪. জাহাঙ্গীর এবং শাহজাহানের শাসনকালের সংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণ, ঔরঙ্গজেবের সম্প্রসারণবাদী নীতি, মারাঠাদের সঙ্গে দ্বন্দ্ব, শিবাজী, ঔরঙ্গজেব এবং মুঘল সাম্রাজ্যের পতন।
৫. পলাশী ও বক্সারের যুদ্ধ এবং বাংলায় কোম্পানির শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠা – দেওয়ানির হস্তান্তর এবং বাংলায় ব্রিটিশ সম্প্রসারণে এর প্রভাব, মহীশূর এবং মহারাষ্ট্র, অধীনতামূলক মিত্রতা নীতি, স্বত্ববিলোপ নীতি এবং পাঞ্জাব দখল।
৬. ব্রিটিশ শাসনের প্রাথমিক প্রতিরোধ – ওয়াহাবি ও ফরাজি আন্দোলন, সাঁওতাল বিদ্রোহ, 1857 সালের বিদ্রোহ। পাশ্চাত্য শিক্ষা ও সমাজ সংস্কার – রামমোহন রায়, ইয়ং বেঙ্গল ও বিদ্যাসাগর। ভারতীয় জাতীয়তাবাদের প্রাথমিক পর্যায় – প্রাক-কংগ্রেস সভা-সমিতি, কংগ্রেসের প্রতিষ্ঠা ও কংগ্রেসের প্রথম পর্বের প্রকৃতি।
৭. ভারতীয় রাজনীতিতে চরমপন্থার উত্থান, বঙ্গভঙ্গ বিরোধী ও স্বদেশী আন্দোলনে। গান্ধী এবং ভারতীয় জাতীয়তাবাদ – অসহযোগ, আইন অমান্য ও ভারত ছাড়ো আন্দোলন। মুসলিম লীগ এবং পাকিস্তান দাবি, ভারতবিভাগ ও স্বাধীনতা।
৮. ১৭৮৯-এর ফরাসি বিপ্লব – সন্ত্রাসের রাজত্ব : রোবসপিয়ার। নেপোলিয়ন বোনাপার্টের উত্থান – নেপোলিয়নের অভ্যন্তরীণ পুনর্গঠন, নেপোলিয়ন এবং ইউরোপ : নেপোলিয়নের সাম্রাজ্যের সম্প্রসারণ এবং পতন।
৯. ভিয়েনা কংগ্রেস (১৮১৫), মেটারনিখ ব্যবস্থা, ১৮৩০ – ১৮৪৮ সালের বিপ্লব, জার্মানি এবং ইতালির একীকরণ।
১০. ঔপনিবেশিকতা এবং আফ্রিকা দখলের কাড়াকাড়ি, জার্মানির ওয়েল্ট পলিটিক, ট্রিপল অ্যালায়েন্স এবং ট্রিপল আঁতাত, প্রথম বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সূচনা, ১৯১৯ সালের শান্তি বন্দোবস্ত।

1. Feature of the Indus Valley Civilization-decline of the Indus Valley Civilization-the Vedic Civilization-Sodas’a Mahajanapadas- Buddhism and Jainism-The rise and fall of the Maurya Empire: Asoka’s Dhamma Imperial Guptas-Palas and Senas of Bengal.
2. The establishment of the Delhi Sultanate-The Slave dynasty-The Khilji and Tughluq Rulers-The administrative structure under the Sultanate, The Vijayanager Empire.
3. Disintegration of the Sultanate-Babar-the importance of his invasion of India-Mughal-Afghan contest and Sher Shah Suri, Consolidation of the Mughal empire under Akbar-Territorial expansion under Akbar.
4. An overview of the reigns of Jahangir and Shahjahan-Aurangzeb’s expansionist policies -conflict with the Marathas-Shivaji-Aurangzeb and the disintegration of the Mughal empire.
5. Battles of Palasi and Buxer and the establishment of the Company’s rule in Bengal-The Transfer of Diwani and its impact in Bengal-British expansion: Mysore and Maharastra-subsidiary alliance-the doctrine of lapse-annexation of the Punjab.
6.
